Vandium Consulting Group Book a diagnostic

About the practice

Founder-led, model-driven.

Vandium Consulting Group is a boutique enterprise-technology advisory founded by Mark Garcia, a technologist and enterprise architect with twenty-eight years of experience across enterprise and mid-market organisations.

The practice exists because of a pattern that repeats almost everywhere: enterprise IT gets treated as a pile of projects rather than a coherent operating model of capabilities that depend on one another. Organisations end up investing in the wrong order, unable to prove their maturity, and leaving value on the table — often at the exact moment it matters most, in a transaction.

Vandium's answer is to provide the model, the method, and the instruments to fix that. A single capability framework — ten domains, fifty capabilities, aligned to COBIT 2019 — is the backbone every engagement is scoped, assessed, and delivered against. It gives clients a shared vocabulary and the practice a repeatable method, which is what makes advice cumulative rather than starting over each time.

Twenty-eight years of enterprise-architecture judgment sits behind that framework, encoded into playbooks, assessment tools and dependency models rather than resting in one person's head. That is deliberate: it is what allows engagements to be fixed-scope and evidence-first, and what lets a client keep using the output after the engagement closes.

The thesis

A model, not a deck.

A model, not a deck

Vandium works from a coherent, standards-aligned operating model — so advice is consistent, defensible, and cumulative across engagements rather than starting over each time.

Sequencing you can defend

Roadmaps are derived from an explicit dependency structure, not from opinion. Every priority has a reason you can trace and challenge.

From orientation to valuation

Few advisors span here's your IT, here's the plan, and here's what it's worth on a deal. Vandium does, inside one model.

Fixed-scope, evidence-first

A deep delivery library of playbooks, templates and assessment tools means fast, predictable engagements that produce artifacts, not just recommendations.

The most useful first step is usually the Diagnostic — it replaces opinion with a scored, evidenced picture of where IT actually stands.
